Sleepless in [Sunny] Seattle

Oh the romance that filled the streets of Seattle when “Sleepless in Seattle” first made it’s big debut! And I always watch it and think, perhaps if I move to Baltimore, I’ll finally meet the right man for me in Seattle by hearing him on the radio and writing his weird kid a note that somehow started some awkward romance even though I have a boyfriend and then hang out alone at the top of the Space Needle and then live happily ever after.

…and then I slap myself and say, This is real life. And Tom Hanks really isn’t that cute to be dating all these hot women anyway. Oh but I do love Tom Hanks.

Well, I’m hoping you enjoyed my random ramblings, but there is an actual outfit in this post. My friend and I decided to play tourist for a day – and hung out at Kerry Park (which is THE park to see if you are visiting Seattle, apparently, this was my first time there). When you live in Seattle, you don’t look at tour guides and travel lists when you decide what you want to do for the weekend – but I decided after more than 20 years in the city, it was time to head to the infamous Kerry Park and see what the rage was all about.

And about the clothes….the jean jacket is again – a fabulous J.Crew find (on sale, but similar plus size version here and straight size version here), the neon yellow top is old (but I’m obsessed with this plus size one and this straight size one), the neon clutch is from H&M (recent) and the maxi skirt is from J. Crew (similar here).
