Everything you stereotypically know about Seattle, from shows like Gray’s Anatomy and movies like Sleepless in Seattle (and hopefully not The Ring…) is true. People here are friendly, and passive aggressive. It rains too much – and there are ferries, water, cranes and docks all over the city. But what some of you don’t know about Seattle is that it is truly an amazing city.
Now I promise, the tourism board hasn’t hired to me bring fashionable visitors to the city – and I still dream of moving to NYC in a 300sq ft apartment to live miserably fabulous one day – but I love Seattle. It’s my home – and you should visit!
Oh, what’s that? The outfit? Put your pitch forks down – I’ll stop poetically babbling about my hometown and talk fashion for a minute. The scarf is from Nordstrom (old, similar here), the blazer is a vintage Pendleton piece I picked up (also worn here), snakeskin dress is from H&M (and my next blog post will be how to wear the dress in a different way!), bag is vintage & boots are H&M (similar here).
