Seattle Summer Solstice
Whenever Summer Solstice comes around…I always think I need to do something extra special, since it is the longest day of the year. So what is more special than a summery, floral & jean jacket outfit post for my blog? Not much (with the exception of male models surrounding me in my pictures, which by the looks of the photos did not happen…maybe next year?). But Seattle sure did not disappoint – the longest day of the year was one of the most gorgeous, at a perfect 74 degrees, sunny skies & puffy white clouds – it was hard to sit inside the marketing agency and work all day (oh adult responsibilities…).
Now let’s chat about that jean jacket – I’m completely obsessed. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect jean jacket for months – and finally found my match at where else…J.Crew (on sale, but similar plus size version here and straight size version here). The red peplum top is one I’ve had for a while now, but haven’t gotten a chance to get on the blog yet (from Zara, similar plus size version here and straight size here). Skirt is from H&M and I’m obsessed with the floral print. Shoes are by Seychelles and the clutch is vintage!
I hope that each & every one of you did something extra special on your longest day of the year – and remember, it’s already tomorrow in Paris!
