Sunny day in Seattle? That means it’s time to pull out the crazy color combos & flowy skirts (though it’s only 45 degrees out, and that means no sandals…yet).
The skirt is from Zara (similar here), top is from H&M (recent), belt is from Forever21 (similar here), shoes are River Island from ASOS, and bag is vintage D&B.

Okay, okay…I know what you are thinking. Isn’t Olivia Palermo that rude chick from The City on MTV? Yes, she is. The awkwardly snobbish girl who worked at Elle with Whitney on the show.
BUT – who cares if she’s a trust-fund brat? She’s freaking fabulous. And she has taken over Pinterest (if you haven’t noticed yet)…because her outfits are unique, stylish & inspiring to fashion loving gals everywhere. In fact, in preparation for the blog post, I created an entire Pinterest board on Olivia.
I love how she has this effortless yet put together style – she’ll mix prints, wear bright colors and try new trends. At the same time, she sports classic, simple looks that make her look chic & casual.
And take note, that at the bottom of the post, there is a little treat: her HOT boyfriend. (Dang, where can I snatch one of THOSE up?)

Recently, like every other digitally-inclined female, I have been completely obsessed with Pinterest. One of my favorite boards is the “Outfit Envy” pinboard – where I find outfits that I am absolutely in love with, pick apart the elements that make it so great – and then create my own outfit using the inspirations.
So I took a new trend that I love – pairing neons with nude – and put a little “Natasha” spin on it! My Nude & Neon outfit below is simple & casual – yet has the same stylistic feel as the outfit inspirations above. Anyone can pull off this look – just buy a great, comfy neon piece & start styling away!
About the clothes: Chartruse sweater: Nordstrom (similar here), Blazer: H&M (similar here), Lion necklace: H&M, Wrist candy, H&M, Loafers: ASOS

Seattle is a crazy place – in the same day, it can rain, hail, sun-shine and be freezing.
It reminded me of myself – in the same day you can have such highs and such lows – yet all everyone really wants to do is to make to the weekend.
And the weekend has finally arrived. Enjoy 2 outfits: one for sun, one for rain, but both for Natasha
Floral Oufit: Floral Blazer (ASOS), Peplum Top (H&M), Shoes (ASOS)
Neutral Outfit: Coat (GAP), Scarf (Thrifted), Bag (Tory Burch)

You may be looking around and wondering…gosh it sure does look different ’round these parts. Well – yes! As you may have guessed, the Chic Curve got a make-over! One of the reasons I decided it was time for some new threads (for the blog) is because I was very limited in picture size – and I want to be able to post bigger, better pictures for all to see. Thank goodness for the team (especially @GrantLandram) over at Freshmuse for helping me redesign & launch The Chic Curve 2.0 – I’m completely ecstatic about how well it turned out and highly recommend them to anyone doing a WordPress project!
Now let’s chat clothes. The polka dot blouse is from Nordstrom Rack, the sweater is by Free People (similar one here), the pants are actually suede leggings from H&M (similar ones here) and the wedge booties are also from H&M. The sunglasses were gifted, but I’m currently coveting these.
Also: stay tuned for an amazing giveaway featuring an adorable piece from a very, very well known designer. I’m super excited about this giveaway…can’t wait for everyone to see the item I was able to get my hands on!

We all want to look gorgeous in the morning – but sometimes the snooze button gets the better of us. And I’m very guilty of snoozing for 30 even 45 minutes – yet I still manage to get out of the door and to work on time looking fresh & stylish.
I’ve had lots of people ask me, if you only have a few minutes in the morning and don’t want to spend an hour on your makeup, what should you apply & what should you skip? How can you look awake if you had a late night out? What if you are new to makeup and don’t know what to apply on a daily basis?
To answer all the questions, I created this graphic to demonstrate that you can have your cake and eat it to – or have your sleep and look fab, too. I hope it helps – I even spent some time making it pretty so you could print it out & put it by your bathroom mirror if you need some help getting into the makeup routine.
For individual products that I use & love, check out my recommendations below.
Benefit’s “Stay Don’t Stray” eye concealer ($26) is seriously my life-saving product. It’s light and easy to blend, and a little goes a very long way.
You can buy lots of different types of foundations (expensive ones too) but I really stand by Neutrogena’s Healthy Skin makeup. It’s got 20 SPF and comes in a large assortment of shades, plus it’s under $15.
I am a big Benefit fan, and here’s another great product: Hoola Bronzer ($28). Can’t afford that trip to Hawaii? No problem. Brush this stuff on and you’ll be glowing like you’ve been lying out on the beach for a week.
Everyone needs a good brush for applying bronzer and blush. Trish McEvoy makes some FAB brushes – they are pricey, but worth it & will last you forever (give them a wash every 3 months or so).
I recently discovered the most amazing liquid eyeliner, and from an unexpected brand: Lancome. Their “Artliner” ($30) comes in a bottle and has a plastic-tip applicator that glides on with such ease you don’t have to worry about doing much work when you are shaping your line at all.
Great Lash is still my go-to mascara. I’ve spent $30 on a bottle of mascara - and I just think it’s silly to spend on this item (versus getting a nice brush or bronzer) because mascara needs to be replaced every couple months. So at less that $4 a bottle, this bottle packs a punch for your lashes!
And last but not least – a good everyday lipstick is essential. You have to find a shade that fits your skin tone & creates a glow for your face without drawing too much attention to your lips. My favorite lipstick brand is NARS – their colors are rich and creamy, and come in matte and semi-matte shades which I love.
