Prints and Curves

This is the blog post I have been waiting to show you…because my amazingly gorgeous floral print suit (ASOS) finally arrived at my doorstep! I decided to “premiere” this outfit by wearing it three different ways! Because the bonus of buying a matching printed suit is that each piece can be worn individually – and mixing & matching with other fun pieces in your closet is sure-fire way to justify spending just a little bit too much moolah on something fabulous

I also wanted to show everyone that you don’t have to be a size 2 to pull off something bold & unique! I originally saw this printed suit on one of my favorite fashion blogs, This Time Tomorrow, and thought it was AH-MAZ-ING. So I decided to just go for it – buy the suit & wear it with confidence! Though Krystal and I have such different body types – we can both rock this print – and SO CAN YOU!

Here is how I wore each piece in my 3 outfit renditions (photos are below):

  1. Outfit #1: I paired the bold floral blazer with a crisp white button down, black skinny trousers and my favorite silver ASOS vamp pumps. I added in a studded gold Michael Kors belt to accentuate my curves and add a sprinkle of fun!
  2. Outfit #2: A more casual outfit, a loose black sheer blouse with the printed skirt, paired with a bright red bauble necklace and classic embellished pumps.
  3. Outfit #3: The suit in all it’s glory, with the accent of my lime yellow tiny-purse. The suit is so bold – I had to let it shine without too many other accessories or colors.

Three great looks. I especially love the second one with the pencil skirt, black blouse and statement necklace. Way to show that curvy girls can rock any trend:)

You look great! May I ask what size you purchased the jacket in? I’m typically a size 14 in tops but I was wondering if it’s tight in the arms/armpit area at all? That is usually my trouble spot.

I would really appreciate the help!
