  • White Sequins, Red Lips & Green Blazer

Natasha Jarmick in Green Blazer, White Sequins, Red Lipstick & booties

Why do I love thrift shopping? Because you can find things like the vintage green wool Pendleton blazer I found for $7. Enough bragging. (But seriously you should be jealous it is QUITE a steal)…moving on.

I wore my “Mulan” bun on the very tippy top of my head, with BCBG hoops and a punch of my favorite red lipstick (YSL). The matted white sequin shirt is my new favorite go-to white top (Vince Camuto) and my “email clutch” is from H&M (old). The studded booties are from a couple years ago – found them at TJ Maxx ($20) and they are still fabulous.

…and in combination of being exhausted from working out & having a ton of actual work ahead of me, I’m signing off. I’ll do a better job of writing something clever next time 😉

  • New Prep School

Vintage Ralph Lauren Preppy Blazer Crest

This blazer…is to say the least one of my favorite pieces in my closet. It is a vintage classic Ralph Lauren with the crest and the buttons and the amazingness. The coat is cut perfectly, gives you shape, and the gold buttons & emblem are the perfect pops of color & class. But of course – I’m not an old lady. So to keep this look young & fresh, I wore my new (favorite) matte white sequins top (Vince Camuto via Nordstrom). Add a pop of color with my red chain loafers (River Island via ASOS) and some wrist candy (bangle from H&M) and you’ve got a modern twist on a classic look.

On another note…I’ve decided that I don’t have enough bright colors in my wardrobe. Being inspired daily by other fashion bloggers – I have set a persona goal for the weekend. To go shopping & buy 5 bright colored pieces of clothing (tops, pants, dresses, skirts). This is my weekend to-do list and I don’t mind doing it at all. So if you need a color-infused boost to your wardrobe…get downtown & don’t buy anything unless its blindingly bright or bitch-slaps you in the face with color.

  • Green Houndstooth & Shades of Berry

No time for talk today. Just a vintage green houndstooth blazer, a berry & orange scarf from Morocco travels, studded top by Michael Kors, vintage Dooney & Bourke bag, REBEL Lipstick by MAC and embellished smoking loafers from ASOS.

    Eat your heart out 😉
