Holidaze Poncho & Kimono
I hope everybody had an absolutely wonderful holiday. You all now have officially 1 week to find something stunning to wear for NYE 2011!
Let’s chat clothes for a minute. I bought the kimono-esque open cardigan at H&M, and I fell in love with it. Even though some may think it looks like a robe and it shouldn’t leave the walls of my apartment – it doesn’t matter because it is sexy & stylish. I’m definitely going to wear this again, possible with a belt & sequin pencil skirt (and higher, sexy heels) for a night-out look. The poncho coat (below) is from Nordstrom, it is a fun and different looking jacket for fall/winter, though the sleeves are cut shorter so it doesn’t really work for keeping my wrists warm in colder weather
Also, about the stylized photos – I felt like trying something different, especially after seeing The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, and all the older looking photos from the 50s inspired me.
