Sheer Knit Sweater: Free People (via Gilt), Scalloped skirt/dress: Max Studio, Bag: Dooney & Bourke, Shoes: Piperlime
Summer came late for Seattle this year, and while I’m stocking up on fur, knits & scarves, the weather has been a steady 80 degrees for the past 2 weeks. So I was delighted to wake up yesterday morning and see an overcast sky – and a weather report that showed temperatures no higher than 62 degrees. So it was time to pull out my giant oversized Free People sweater, and create what I like to call a “transitioning from summer to fall” look.
The skirt I’m wearing is actually a dress, by Max Studio from Nordstrom. Taking a lesson from Atlantic-Pacific, wearing a dress as a skirt is an amazing thing – 2 pieces in 1! The necklace is Givenchy, and it is also one of my fav pieces.
And yes, I have a little funny face happening. But it was the only picture that showed the sheerness & texture of the sweater, as well as the scalloping detail on the skirt. So deal with it.

Leave a CommentLOVING this look. So chic. I’m also very jealous of your weather. It’s only now cooling off here in Sacramento, thank goodness!

I need an oversize sweater in my life. I’m just too afraid that it’ll make me even more shapeless than I already am. lolol. Anywho, cute look and cute bag!

You just have to pair it with a tight bottom and you'll be fine. Add heels, tight bottom & you'll see be lady-like :)
