Chic Coworkers: Meet Aly
For me, being chic and being fashionable is really about 2 things: having good taste & having your own sense of style. This is my test for how anyone can tell if they have their own sense of style (their own “look”): Could you friends go shopping and know exactly what you would and would not like (or at least think they would know)? Then you probably have a distinct look that others pick up on.
Aly, who is an intern at the Marketing Agency where we work, has a very unique sense of style – and while it is nothing like my look – I love the outfits this girl puts together!
She’ll stroll into the office with a bun atop her head, a tank top stylishly falling off one shoulder tucked into a full length maxi skirt, always paired with chunky heels. I would call her style: “Prep-bohemian-chic.”

This outfit is very menswear inspired - with the tucked in button-up and brown belt. The addition of the red lips & chunky heels give this outfit a sexy-edge.
